We Build for Game Day, Not Everyday

In the town of Langley, British Columbia, a positive idea like building soccer fields and ice rinks for youth sports can seem good on the surface. However, issues can arise from a mega complex that is car dependent and not very pedestrian friendly.

Mike Parker’s article about how big developers took their shot but didn’t hit the net really resonated with me, especially as a parent who knows the stresses and anxieties of an environment when kids and cars come together.
