Hope Henchey Comes to Buffalo!

If you follow Strong Towns, you’ve likely seen Hope Henchey walking city streets across the U.S., advocating for walkable neighborhoods, better public transit, and safer streets for pedestrians. On February 3, Hope brought her travels to the Bicycle Bottle Shop in Buffalo, where she captivated and inspired the crowd with stories from the road and firsthand lessons on how we can strengthen our neighborhoods, no matter where we live. After all, that is what the 12 Steps to Town Making is all about!

Smiles and laughs all around as Hope takes questions from the audience in Buffalo.

It turns out that Hope has quite a few adoring fans here in Buffalo, and we would love to have her back soon! Until then, I know I’ll be following Hope on Instagram to see where she’ll be next.

Special thanks to Bicycle Bottle Shop for hosting the event, to NEVO’s president Bernice Radle for showing Hope around town, and to Strong Towns Buffalo for their support.

Bicycle Bottle Shop is a women owned local business that promotes bicycles, zero proof beverages, and tons of fun events! Check them out here!
