PORTAGE PLACE

A further evolution of Mike Keen’s development Portage Midtown, a sustainable neighborhood development located in the center of the Near Northwest Neighborhood.

Originally built around 1920 and expanded in the 1940, Portage Place served first as the Ward Baking Company, and then later as the Ford Distribution Center. Abandoned in 2012, it has been rescued and fully renovated and updated with high speed internet, a spacious and comfortable atmosphere and lots of natural light. Pedestrian and bike friendly, with easy access to public transportation and the toll road, Portage Place is transforming into a crossroads for the community.
