Cross Community was created to develop initiatives that support the City of South Bend's revitalization plan for west side neighborhoods. Kingdom Campus is a private sector effort to help "ensure that every existing family that wants to stay on the West Side will have a decent home and a thriving neighborhood."  

With Kingdom Life Christian Cathedral, itself an historic building at the heart of the campus and the development of a multiplex gymnasium, the Campus contributes to the city's vision of making the area a destination of historic and current interest.

Close to the Kingdom Life Christian Cathedral, the organization Cross Community has made significant efforts to stabilize and construct housing in the Neath Northwest Neighborhood. They’ve recently completed three cottages in a row on Harrison Ave, using the South Bend Pre-Approved plan sets for two of the cottages.
